I'm back! Pink110

OKay, after looking at 1001 blogs I feel inspired to blog again, and inspiration comes from...my nails! LOL. I was kinda getting used to my cleaned up, healthily buffed, nicely shaped nails, when my fingers got itchy again and reached for the bottle!!!! I recently feel drawn to pastel colours, and was hoping to do a sort of milkshake-pink, Miwako Sakurada type. Sort of like Lime Crime's Great Pink Planet in a bottle.

Today, I finally decided to try a colour Sharon, Collin n Channy got for my birthday, Pink110 from The Face Shop. No-one reviews face shop colours, so I shall aim to review my collection LOL. Here are the products that I use. So. TFS base, Pink110, and TFS topcoat. Not much to boast of, though!

Onto the application. As Sharon and I have concluded, TFS isn't really good for their light colours, but I make do!

1. Pigment doesn't stick to the brush easily
2. Was QUITE streaky, but the top coat managed to even it out A LITTLE.
3. It did however, dry pretty past! Faster than I used to remember, but today is kinda cold and dry. I didn't ruin my nails at all cuz it dried so fast.

Three coats, without flash. Here you can see that with three coats, it's still translucent. But it was already building up with streaks so I didnt do a fourth. I might, tomorrow.

With flash. I love the was the colour looks here. Sadly, this picture isn't really a good colour match at all. I think it ended up looking more Barbie than Miwako. It looks milkshakey in the bottle (like the above picture) but its slightly brighter IRL. Below are not very good quality shots, but I feel represent the actual colour on my nails better.

So, anyone can recommend a nice shade of light, strawberry milkshake?
